Du Bout Du Monde was born from a meeting between Georges Lustig, the brand creator, great traveller with Venise ... and Baudelaire. In 1990 during a trip in the lake dwelling, he felt transported by the palaces' splendour of this city, mixing east and west with such a particular charm and elegance. And on the canals, where sleeping "Those ships, nomads by nature" were sleeping, these are the words of Baudelaire and his Invitation to travel which are singing in the/his head. He imagines these "gleaming furniture, polished by age", these "deep mirrors" which are talking in secret « the native softness ».
That's how the brand "Du Bout du Monde" was born, so close to the French art of living where everything is just "harmony and beauty" with this timeless elegance and these natural materials which go so well with beautiful interiors.
